Part of the guide: The first month with an agency: a month of mutual trial

The onboarding training at SOMAS Management is free. It has sixteen fifteen minute modules over four weeks, alongside the first month: four modules open every Monday in your private space. This page gives the outline. The detail stays in your space.
Week one: before your first session
You create from the first week, so everything that protects your photos comes first. Who we are and how we work. What your body can say about you, beyond your face. What your surroundings can say about you. Your phone and your accounts, with one account kept for this work.
Week two: your content online
Posting of your first content begins, one week after you created it. What we do with your photos, and what each platform brings you. The protections around your account, such as geoblocking and the watermark. And what we do if content circulates without your consent.

Week three: create easily
Creating with a phone and daylight, a good session in twenty minutes, keeping the spark without wearing yourself out. And custom content: you tell us what you accept, and we answer subscribers for you.
Week four: last
Understanding your statements, looking after yourself, keeping your private life private, and looking ahead with the first month review.
Why a training
Many creators start alone, learn by making mistakes, and find out too late that a photo said more than they meant it to. We prefer to begin where mistakes cost the most: anonymity, protection and organisation. The rest follows once the foundations are solid. The training also shows you how we work, with nothing hidden, so that at every step you know what we do with your content and why.
How it runs in your space
Every Monday at midnight four new modules open in your private space. The following modules stay visible, with a countdown that shows when they will open. Each module takes about fifteen minutes: you read it whenever you like during the week, then you mark it as read. It slides out of the list, and the next one takes its place. Nothing is graded, nothing is timed. If a week is busy, the modules wait for you.
All sixteen modules run through the trial month, four every Monday. You can always find the ones you have already read.
How it fits the first month
The training moves forward alongside your work. During the first week, you choose your first theme and create at your own pace: nothing is published. What you create one week goes out the following week, which always leaves you a week ahead to organise yourself as you like. In week two, posting of your first content begins, and the modules explain what we do with it.
Your contract is signed at your first sign in, right after a short welcome video call where we check your ID. The first month is a trial: at its end, we review it together, and a review then closes every month.
What the training is not
It does not tell you what to photograph: the creative side is yours, and the weekly themes leave plenty of room for your own way of doing things. It promises no income, because nobody can honestly promise that. It never asks you to go beyond your limits, which are set in your space and can be changed at any time.
What to remember
- Fifteen minutes per module, at your own pace, in your space.
- The first month is a mutual trial, and the training runs through it.
- Your face never appears, and your limits come first.
Frequently asked questions
How much time should I plan each week?
About an hour for the four modules, spread however you like. The rest of the time you create, and the agency handles the posting.
Can I read a module again later?
Yes. Every module you have read stays in your space, and you can come back to it whenever you need.
Does the training cost anything?
No. It is free, and it stays free whether or not we carry on working together after the trial.
